About Our School

     St. Xavier's High School is situated at Barimukh, 2 Kms south of Mushalpur, the Headquarters of Baksa District, BTAD, Assam.
     It began in a rented house at Mushalpur with the name of St. Pete's School- as a feeder school for St. John's Higher Secondary School, Barama. However, after acquiring a land of 30 bighas, the school got re-christened as St. Xavier's High School under the management of Society of Jesus, Ranchi Province in 2003. Fr. Charles D'Souza was its first Principal.
     On December 11, 2019 the Society of Jesus handed over the management of the school to the Catholic Diocese of Bongaigaon. Fr. Thomas D'Silva is the present principal of the school.

       Catholic Diocese of Bongaigaon represented by Most. Rev. Thomas Pulloppillil is the legal holder of St. Xavier's High School, Mushalpur. This School being established and managed by the Christian Minority Society is governed by the rights enshrined to it by the Constitution of India.
       Most. Rev. Thomas Pulloppillil, the Bishop of Bongaigaon is the President of the Management Committee and the incumbent Principal is the Secretary. The following are the members of the School Management Committee:
